In 2019,  " Domescape.io "  in partnership with Vortex Immersion Media, offered to take over owner ship of the dome at Tropicana Field . Creating what could have been the largest projection dome at that time. This was before the Sphere in Las Vegas even broke ground. The Idea that the dome could be retrofitted and optimized for various events would help the Rays phase out the new stadium build while producing revenue when the stadium wasnt being used for games.  The Rays and City both denied the offer.  Could this still be a relevant pathway forward for the Rays?
